Adult Redeploy Illinois is making planning grants of up to $30,000 available to counties or groups of counties for convening stakeholders and analyzing data to explore how they might implement an Adult Redeploy Illinois-funded program locally.
Planning grants are for approximately 90 days and must be expended, with all activities completed by June 30, 2015. Grant activities and expenses may include, but are not limited to:

Funded jurisdictions must complete and submit a local implementation plan to expand alternatives to incarceration for non-violent offenders, using the standard plan template [Click here to download the Standard Plan Template in PDF] available at the Adult Redeploy Illinois website: www.icjia.org/redeploy. The plan is due no later than the last day of the awarded planning grant period. Planning grantees are under no obligation, however, to implement the plan. Adult Redeploy Illinoisï¿½ ability to provide subsequent implementation grants is subject to state appropriation levels.
