William Watkins, Ph.D.

Research Analyst

William Watkins, Ph.D., is an ICJIA research analyst. Prior to joining ICJIA, William held faculty appointments at Indiana University, Central Connecticut State University, and West Virginia Wesleyan College. His research has focused on substance use disorder, criminal and deviant behavior among adolescents and young adults, and violent offending.

William holds a doctor of philosophy degree in sociology from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in criminology from the University of South Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
